I am delighted to announce that my artwork has been selected for this year's War Child Secret 7" exhibition and auction.
Some some of the world’s most celebrated artists and designers are taking part this year, such as Antony Gormley OBE, Yinka Ilori MBE, Sir Paul Smith, Haroon Mirza, Ken Nwadiogbu and Andre Pierre Hart. Previous contributors have included Sir Anish Kapoor, Yoko Ono, Sir Peter Blake, David Shrigley, and Ai Weiwei.
Secret 7” selects seven iconic tracks from globally-renowned musicians, pressing each track onto 100 limited-edition 7” vinyl records.
Creatives worldwide, from renowned artists to emerging talents, create one-of-a-kind sleeve designs for each record, interpreting the track in any style or medium of their choosing, resulting in 700 distinctive pieces of collectible art that push the boundaries of what a record sleeve can be.
Every penny raised from the War Child presents Secret 7” auction goes directly to the charity.
War Child deliver three things that can change a child’s life – protection, education and mental health support. Its work is evidence based and proven to create change in 14 countries globally including the DRC, Syria, Gaza, Ukraine and Yemen.
The exhibition will be held at the NOW Gallery in London from 11th April – 1st June.
